The Books of April

One of my goals for the year is to read at least 3 books a month. I’ve decided to share with all what I’ve read in the past month, and plan to do the same each month. Maybe you’ll pick some of them up, or not. Some are new, and some aren’t so new. Also, this month was kind of funny. I read three books published by The Domino Project, and read them all in the first week of the month, and didn’t read any others. I hope you check them out.

The Flinch by Julien Smith is a challenging book about getting past our fears and really living. I was challenged and inspired by this book and highly recommend it. Please check it out here. (Affiliate Link)

Seth Godin and the Domino Project put together Self-Reliance by Ralph Waldo Emmerson in a new way. If you love this old classic, then you’ll really enjoy this one. Or if you’re familiar with Emmerson at all you know it’ll be challenging to the way you live your life. You can go get it here. (Affiliate link)

Do The Work by Steven Pressfield is a challenging one from the popular author of The War of Art. In this manifesto he write about how the creative process is only so much creative and followed by a lot of work, and the only answer to doing anything of significance is to Do the Work. Go check this one out here. (Affiliate link)
